Ateş Architects & Design Research was founded in June 2020 by Turan Ateş and Serkan Ateş in Alanya, as the continuation of Ateş Construction Company's practices which started in 2006. Prior to its establishment, the team has designed wide range of works from urban masterplan, hospital to residential, cultural buildings and workplaces.

AADR works closely with the clients, trying to establish an integrated design that, in time, will help create buildings that engage better with the user and with its surroundings. AADR constantly seeks to find new ways of combining light and materials and minimizing the environmental impact. Each AADR project is a unique work combining intellectual and artistic sensitivity tempered by the tradition and culture from which they spring.
